We really had WINTER this year!!

As I woke up this morning what do you think my little eyes saw...----> HOLY COW!!!!

Mommy and I are going to build a snowman and hopefully post some pictures of it. Maybe the little neighbor boy down the street will be out playing and I can head down there and have some fun with him.

We woke up Tuesday to a major ice storm that has completely crippled this city. School has been out all week and we're not looking to be back until Monday. Ok well I'm gonna go get all my stuff ready to head outside. Will post more later!

It's Been Awhile

It has been since February that I posted to my blog and I sure have missed it. A lot has happened since then, I have switched to a new school, I have started soccer again and I have traveled to visit some family and friends.

As far as the new school goes, I have to say that I LOVE it! I now attend Frisco Trails Montessori and my teachers are Miss Anna and Miss Saganya, they are wonderful. I go to school on Monday, Thursday and Friday from 8am till 3pm. My schedule for school goes a little something like this:

8:00 - 8:30 Practical life and Sensorial work
8:30 - 8:45 Circle Time
8:45 - 9:30 Montessori Work (Language, Math and Cultural)
Thursday's we have Music from 9:00 - 9:20 (I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Music class)
9:30 - 9:45 Hand washing and snack time
9:45 - 10:00 Potty Training and hand washing (You want me to pee where? YEAH right!)
10:00 - 10:15 Spanish on Monday's
10:15 - 10:45 Playroom or playground
10:45 - 11:20 Montessori Work
11:20 - 11:30 Clean up for lunch and wash hands
11:30 - 12:00 Lunch Time
12:00 - 12:30 Sing songs and dismissal
12:30 - 12:45 Potty Training and hand washing
12:45 - 2:45 Nap time (I think this is where I am supposed to sleep and take a break, but I just can't stop talking long enough)
2:45 - 3:00 Potty training and hand washing
3:00 Dismissal and snack time

This is just a little glimpse into my school day and all the things I work on. Mommy is going to start taking pictures of my art work and sharing them on my blog.

I had my second soccer class today and I have to say that I have a great time and it's a good work out too. Coach Kat say's that I am doing really well and she thinks I might be a natural...goalie lol! I can't seem to keep my hands off the ball, it's so cute I have to hug it all the time.

Mommy and I just came back from Dayton and Cincinnati visiting Ammo Walid's family and also attending Alyssa's Bat Mitzvah. We had a blast with auntie, ammo and my cousins, but the Bat Mitzvah was AWESOME!!! I danced my butt off and was really the life of the party, ask Auntie Lori.

We have a lot to catch up on

Ok well it has been awhile since I have written, life has just gotten so busy and I have been tired. Lets see, what has happened since I last wrote....I went to a picnic, I ate ice-cream, we had visitors, I threw a temper tantrum, I went to Ft. Worth, I started school and went to Houston. Sheesh I have been one busy beaver.

Mommy had a picnic with her classmates at the gym and I have to say we had a great time.
Wes had so many things in his back yard. He had a pool, trampoline and a little play house that was painted with chalk board paint and boy ol boy did I have a great time with that. I played with all the kid's and jumped with Miss Sharon which is mommy's trainer. You should have seen the amazing food that was there, thank goodness it was mommy's cheat meal day. Mommy made a very cool cake, it was a white cake with strawberries between the two layers and then had chocolate covered strawberries with shaved chocolate on top. The cake was yummy and everyone loved it.


Now the ice-cream was consumed at Sweet Tomatoes. Mommy and I picked up Lori and Alyssa from the airport and took them to lunch. I didn't eat much off the salad bar, but man did I love that ice-cream. I over heard mommy talking on the phone the other day telling Auntie Saffia that she got a coupon for buy one get one free at Sweet Tomato so I am hoping they are planning on going soon so I can get some more of that yummy ice-cream.



Auntie Lori and Alyssa visited for 4 days and we had a BLAST! Like I said above they arrived and we went to lunch, that was on Friday. Saturday we went and spent the day at Great Wolf Lodge, man I love that water park. Auntie Lori, Alyssa, mommy and I spend a lot of time in the lazy river. We came home Saturday late night and decided not to go back to the lodge the next day, but we decided to go to the Ft. Worth Stockyards. Birthday party planning has begun

I have no idea what that has to do with my party, but I thought it was funny.

Mommy is getting into the party mode by trying to figure out what my party attire will be. She is going to and make me an outfit this year and I think it's going to be fabulous. Here is a picture of what she is going to try and make.

As you can tell we are going with the Elmo the Elmo theme this year which is going to be AWESOME! I am wondering what type of gift bags we should have this year and what my cake will look like. I think that mama should make the gift bags out of red bags with Elmo faces on it, that might be totally cute. I am getting so excited for my 2nd birthday. I know mommy and daddy are going to make it special.

Enough talk about party planning and now on to the more exciting stuff going on in my life...Errands! Today mommy and I ran tons of errands, I didn't think we were ever going to finish up. We had to go to Home Depot/Lowe's to buy wood floor cleaner and a light bulb. Went to Target to return a cup that daddy bought, let me just note that was the second one that mommy and I had to return...sheeeesh daddy do you think mommy and I have nothing better to do with our day? We had to go to UPS to mail a package that needed to be returned and then headed off to Sam's to pick up mango and Turkey.

We bought our mango and Turkey and guess what else mommy found....DUPLO'S. Oh yeah I got some more lego's. Daddy came home for lunch today and was totally excited about our purchase and told me he would build a big building and stuff tonight when he gets home. I will have to post a picture of that tomorrow.

Mommy and I are going to go play lego's now so I have to sign off. I will post more tomorrow.

Busy, Busy, Busy!

Well, a lot has happened since I last posted. I have been doing tons of things with the kid's at the Mosque. I have been having a BLAST each week on our field trips. You all have seen a few pictures from them, but I have some more. We went to Frisco Fire Safety Town last week and it was so much fun.

Mommy, daddy and I have been up to a lot of things too. Daddy had a few days off with us and we had a couple outings. One of our outings was to the mall play place. As you can see in the picture, you can never see me as I am always on the go. "Oh you want to take my picture?" YEAH RIGHT!

Another week under our belts

Frisco Heritage Museum tour with the Masjid Summer Camp kid's. We had a blast and I can't wait till our next field trip on the 23rd to Fire Safety Town. I will post more later. I am tired and need to get to bed.

A wonderful week

Ok mommy has decided that I should only do my blog every few days or once a week. She seems to think that I was starting to get a little crazy about it and everything else was going down the drain. Honestly it has taken us a bit to get back into the grove of life here seeing that we were at Nana and pop pop's house for a week. Mommy is back to her boot camp classes and I have to say that I am very proud of her, she is really making a lot of progress. Boot camp takes up a lot of mommy's time so she has been a little crazy with learning all the things she needs to know and log all the stuff she needs to log.

R&R

Today we just had a down day, seeing that we have been running and having a great time thus far. We started out with a bit of breakfast, boy ol boy can that nana feed me. She fed me hard boiled egg, blueberries, strawberry, toast and cottage cheese. Wow that is a lot of food.

After that we decided to head to the pool and have a little bit of fun. That mama cracks me up, she is so nuts. She would sit on the pool noodle and blow on one end and the other would spray me with water....hahahaha that was so much fun. I think I had some pictures of that let me post one.

After playing for a bit, I decided I wanted to get out of the pool and just sit on the deck and take in the sun. During my sun bathing, I came upon a little friend. Take a look...



Yes folks, it is a little lizard. That little lizard and I have become great friends. It hung out with me for about 20 min. and then decided he had enough and went on with his other friend that we found. I will miss you my friend, see you next trip.

Two day birthday celebration!

Nana's Birthday

Today was Nana's birthday and we had a pretty great day. Mama called some of Nana's friends and had them come over for a small pool party. I got nana a cute card and a picture frame that says I love my Grandma. She loved my gift. Mama still needs to figure out what to get for her, it's hard to buy for someone who has everything. I think Mama has made up her mind as to what she is getting her, she kinda filled me in that she is going to get her a new little sweeper for the inside of the house. Papa tried to add a longer cord to her old one and yeah that didn't work out so well. Nana said there was a blue line of electricity that came up the entire cord so she is going to retire that one. Papa got Nana a nice ring for her birthday.

Chrissy, Megan, Rachael, Chrissy's sister and her mom came over to spend the afternoon with us and I have to say that . Nana was really surprised and happy to see that a few of her friends came to spend her special day with her. I think Mama did a really nice thing and it made Nana happy in the end. After everyone left we just hung out around the house and then everyone headed off to bed. We had a good day and tomorrow Mama, Nana and I are having lunch at Nana's office and then we are off to Michael's to get a couple projects we want to work on, I will have to post some pictures of it and tell you all how it goes. Better get off to bed...night, night.

Well, we made it to Florida and boy what a trip we had. Our flight was delayed due to weather and we were an hour and 40 min. late arriving into Orlando. We arrived around 11:40pm and didn't get home till almost 1:30am and I didn't get to sleep till after 2am. I was totally exhausted today and really needed a nap, but we did have to get to the store to get some groceries and snacks for the week. We came back from the store and I was dog tired and needed to lay down for a nap. I took a very long nap and woke up

The Gypsies

Honestly these day's I feel like a complete gypsy. Mommy and I are always on the go. We went to visit Jido and Teyta then we came to visit Auntie Mona...do you think we will ever stay home? I'm seeing no chance in sight for this so called place we call home lol. We are off to see Nana and Papa in Florida on the 10th of June. I am sure that trip is going to be SO MUCH FUN!!!

We drove down to Auntie Mona's house this afternoon and boy ol boy is that a drive. I wanted to get out and run beside the car, I didn't think we were ever going to get there. We finally arrived around 4p.m. or so and auntie wasn't home yet, she had to go pick up Yaya from school and then come home. We waited for Sammy to get home and then decided what to make for dinner.

Yaya was so excited to see me, I didn't think that I was ever going to walk on my own two feet again. She carried me the entire night, even up and down the stairs. I love yaya, auntie, ammo and Sammy. I didn't get to see Reem much, she was really busy with her school entrance exams and ap tests to really sit down and play with me, but I guess I love her =).

Good food, Good friends who could ask for more?

Well, we had a pretty good day. Mommy, daddy and I just ran a few errands and hung out around the house. We have been invited to auntie Tiffany's house for dinner. I am totally stoked to go over and hang out with the kid's and play around the house.

Auntie had some friends over from Utah and thought it would be nice to get together and have a good time. Ferris, Khansa, Ahmed and Mohammad were still here and auntie Tiffany's mom and grandma were visiting too. The house was filled with tons of people and tons of great food.

All the ladies hung out around the kitchen laughing and joking as to how many arabs it took to grill out. If you went outside to see the amount of arabs it was amazing. I would have to say that there were at least 7 and we still ate late. We do everything on AST. We had the most amazing kefta, auntie won't tell mommy what her secret is so we will only get that one when we go visit. It was getting late so we had to head home, I was exhausted from playing and eating so much. I fell asleep on the way home and slept all the way through until morning. Boy that was a good time and I hope to have many more with all of our family and friends.

Start of a great three day weekend

Friday night auntie Saffia came out for dinner. Mommy and I just planned what we were going to have and hung our around the house. Daddy was up for an early morning meeting and came back around lunch time and took a phone call from the house and then headed out to the Mosque for Friday prayers. Daddy came back from Friday prayers, took a few phone calls and helped mommy and I finalize what we were going to have for dinner. We ended up making ahi tuna and rice pilaf, the rice turned out pretty good, but I think the fish was a little over done for my liking. I was so tired by the time auntie left, I headed straight to bed and fell fast asleep.

Saturday was a pretty uneventful day for me, I woke up around 8am had a yummy breakfast that mommy made for me. Daddy got to sleep in until about 11:15 or so
