Like mother, like daughter!

Ok, Ok, Ok I don't know what to say...I have turned into my mother already. Take a look at this --->

Mommy honestly didn't give this to me, I found it and brought it out of the laundry room all by myself and sweept the floor with it. I see mommy cleaning all the time and thought I would just give her a hand since she works hard to take care of the house, daddy and I. We appreciate all that mommy does.

I didn't get a chance to post anything yesterday, we just got busy and by the time mommy sad down to allow me on the computer I was OUT! We have been kinda stuck inside due to this whole swine flu thing. It is spreading like hot cakes here in TX and frankly we are better off staying away from everyone. We haven't had any reported cases in Frisco, but Plano just had their first confirmed case today and they are closing the school down for 11 days to make sure it is clean. Ft. Worth ISD is closed down and a few others here in the Metroplex. Auntie Tiffany called this evening and wanted to know if we wanted to come hang out with them tomorrow, but mommy isn't sure. Here I am sitting and pondering this whole swine flu thing...why can't life just be easier.Well, we have a new little friend living at our house. Can you all guess what it is? I'll give you a clue, it has feathers and lives flies in the sky. We have a mama bird and her nest with little eggs living in our outside light on the porch. It is very exciting and I can't wait till the babies hatch. Mommy was telling me the story of the little birds that lived in our wreath in Maple Grove. She said they were so cute and she was so excited to see the babies, but then there was a turn for the worst. The wind picked up and caught the wreath and it fell down off the door along with the nest and baby birds. The baby birds didn't survive and mommy was so sad, she made daddy pick them up and burry them in the back yard. Ok, well here is the picture of our newest members of the family and our household.

Teaching in their early years!

Today was supposed to be rainy, but because we had planned to say in for most of the day it didn't. We hung out at the house most of the day, we did have a trip out to Kroger to pick up a few things. Mommy has started using coupons and getting tons of things for free. Today we got softsoap hand soap and birds eye steam fresh veggies all for free. I have to say that this doubling and tripling coupons is amazing. Before we headed out to Kroger I did help mommy around the house, I cleaned the floors...check it out ---> Now that is some swiffer skill.

Mommy made dinner and daddy came home and played with me around the house for a bit before I headed to bed. I went upstairs and took my bath, mommy read goodnight moon and I headed off to sleepy town.

Wiggles Play

I started out my day eating pancakes and mommy finally decided to give me some syrup. After I started eating them with syrup, I wondered why she was holding out on me all this time...hmmm I am going to have to keep a close eye on that mommy lady. Oh I almost forgot to tell you, I pulled over my shoe shelf on myself and it kinda hurt me. I had a scratch on my elbow and it left a little mark on my arm which went away.

Today was rainy so we decided to go to the wiggly play center and play. Well, we first went to the zone and it wasn't very fun so the lady gave us our money back and then we all decided to head down to the wiggles. WE HAD A BLAST!!! I climbed all the way to the top of the bounce house slide and slid down all by myself, I have to say that mommy was very proud. Then I climbed all the way to the top of the adventure playground and hit those slides too although that one didn't go as smoothly as the bounce house one. I didn't cry though, it did scare me a little bit but I didn't cry. We played for about an hour and a half and had to get home for my nap time.

We came home and I took my nap because boy was I tired. I think I slept well over 2 hours. Mommy started dinner and when I woke up I helped her finish it up. We had dinner and hung out around the house and played with my little soccer ball. We headed up to bed a little early because mommy wanted to work in my room putting all my clothes that she had washed away. I helped mommy do that and then I took my bath and headed off to sleep. Daddy came up and read me goodnight moon.

Slam on the brakes!

OK, today was totally crazy and I am exhausted. We started the morning out with taking daddy's care to get the brakes fixed, his indicator light came on and we needed to get them taken care of right away. Well, we dropped his car off to the guy in Richardson and decided to head to Allen outlet center. We got to the outlet center and shopped all the stores for me, mommy has been looking for jean capri's that will go with all of my shirts I have. We hit Nautica, Tommy, Carters, Oshkosh, Gap and some other stores and found NOTHING! I cannot believe how many stores we went to and we found nothing. Mommy did settle for these khaki capri's at the Gap and honestly they weren't my favorite.

After walking for hours at the outlet center we all decided to head to daddy's office and hang out so I could run around without them having to worry about me running off and getting hit by a car. Ummm little did daddy and mommy know, but I can find trouble anywhere. Daddy took me to the cafeteria and I totally decided that I was going to climb on the chairs and onto the table...yeah I can find trouble anywhere. I ate some pool chalk and a ping pong paddle too. We played some foosball and daddy beat mommy although she almost won. Well, we hit the board room and got a snack and drink. I have to say that I love popcorn.

We finished our snack and drink and decided that it was time to hit the road to pick up daddy's car. We dropped off daddy to get his car and mommy and I headed home. We got home and I fell asleep in the car so mommy took me up to my room and put me in bed. I slept at least for another hour or so. Daddy came home and decided to lay down for a nap too.

I woke up from my nap and mommy and I ran some more errands i.e. she wanted to go look for capri's lol. We headed to Khol's and I have to say they had so many capri's. Mommy bought 4 pairs of jean capri's, 2 pairs of pink and 2 pairs of the gaucho style. I have to say that I have plenty of capri's for summer. We headed over to Wal-Mart to pick up juice and then home again. I was exhausted from getting in and out of the car all day long.

Another beautiful day!

Ok we started our day out with some waffles and pancakes. I ate 4 mini waffles and 3 pancakes, I love breakfast what can I say. After that mommy and I decided to go for a jog to the park. We got to the park and there really wasn't many people there and then the masses came. I had a good time, there were at least 10 other kid's to run around with.

Here is a picture of me at the top of the big jungle gym. I had to be careful because the older kid's tend to run around and not pay attention to we little ones. Anyways we had a great time and mommy pushed me in the swing for a long time and I have to say that I fell asleep while she was pushing and talking to one of the other moms.

But before I had fallen asleep in the swing, I was having a great time on the slide. I just learned how to slide on my own yesterday. Daddy sure does teach me a lot of cool things. He taught me not to be afraid and to just go for it. Actually I think daddy was more afraid than I was, he just tried to be strong for me. I love sliding now and honestly I just love to go to the park.
We came home and I was really ready for my nap. Mommy put me down for my nap and I slept for about 2 hours and felt like a new person when I woke up. I was ready to run around again lol. I can't seem to sit still these days.

Mommy and I were going to go to the mall and check out Children's Place because they are having a HUGE sale and I need some capri's. Well, we didn't make it to the mall and that's ok mommy and I just played around the house and in the front yard.

Mommy got dinner done and daddy finally made it home around 7pm and we got to eat dinner. We finished dinner and I talked to Teyta and Jido then Nana called and she talked to me while I took my bath and had my bedtime story read to me. Daddy came up to kiss me goodnight and read another story. I fell asleep right away and dreamt of the pancakes and waffles that await me in the morning.

Tested our new stroller

Well, we got to pick up our new stroller today and I have to say that I LOVE it. It is so comfortable and I love riding in it. Here is a picture of it although ours is Orange. As I took my nap this afternoon mommy decided to dig it out of the box and put the wheels on it.

Mommy made dinner, we ate and then went out to take a walk and test our new stroller out. Mommy, daddy and I went to the park and I have to say we had a great time. Mommy didn't get any pictures of me in the new stroller, but she will get some tomorrow. I also have to tell you all that I learned how to go down the slide on my own, it was so fun.

Mommy drug me all over Plano and Frisco looking at strollers and I believe we found our new stroller today. We bought a BOB revolution and I love it. We go to take a test run at the store, I almost fell asleep while the test drive.

Monday beautiful Monday!

Today was AMAZINGLY beautiful outside. Mommy and I started our day off with our walk and going to the park to play. I am learning how to go down the slide by myself. In this picture I am walking up the slide, sitting and then sliding down. I think I might go all the way to the top one day soon.

We came back from the park and we had to run a few errands. We ran our errands and then came home and I took my nap, boy was I tired after all that play at the park. My nap was about 2 1/2 hours long and I needed it.

After I woke from my nap mommy and I just hung around the house and planned our dinner menu. We cooked dinner and waited for daddy to come home and eat. Daddy finally made it home and we ate dinner then went out to play in the greenbelt.

We came home, I took a shower and got my pj's on and headed up to bed. Night, Night all!

It was beautiful today!

<----I started my day out like this, sitting in my new chair with my little soccer ball. Honestly I have to say that I LOVE this new chair of mine lol. Well, we had an uneventful day. Daddy let mommy sleep in and he stayed up with me to make sure I didn't get into any mischief.

Mommy woke up and made some breakfast. We all decided that we were just going to hang out around the house and maybe take a walk to the park. Daddy did go to Kroger to fill up our propane tank so mommy could make lamb kebabs with cilantro/mint sauce. While daddy was at Kroger, mommy and I headed to the park and had a great time. Honestly I could run around like a maniac for hours and never feel tired. Daddy stopped by the park on his way home and picked us up so we could get home and start making dinner.

Mommy's lamb kebabs with cilantro/mint sauce were sooooo yummy, daddy licked his plate clean. I have asked her for the recipe so I can post it on here.

Spiced Lamb and Vegetable Kebabs with Cilantro-Mint Sauce
Kebabs:
1 1/2 tsp ground cumin
1 1/2 tsp ground coriander
2 tsp grated peeled fresh ginger (mommy used jared)
2 tsp canola oil
1/2 tsp salt
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 (1lb) boneless leg of lamb, trimmed and cut into 1-inch pieces
16 cherry tomatoes
16 (2in) pieces yellow bell peppers
16 (1 1/2in) wedges red onion
cooking spray

Sauce:
1/2 C cilantro leaves
1/4 C mint leaves
2 tbsp chopped green onion
1 tbsp water
1 tbsp canola oil
1 tbsp fresh lime juice
1/4 tsp ground cumin
1/8 tsp salt
1 garlic clove, chopped
1 small jalapeno pepper, seeded and minced

1. Prepare grill to medium-high heat.
2. To perpare kebabs, combine first 6 ingredients in a large bowl; add lamb, tossing to coat. Thread lamb, tomatoes, bell pepper, and onion alternately onto skewers. Place kebabs on a grill rack coated with cooking spray; grill 10 min or until desired degree of doneness, turning occasionally.
3. To prepare the sauce, combine cilantro and remaining ingredients in a blender; process until smooth. Serve with kebabs.

It was so simple and sooooo yummy...give them a try and let us know what you think.

Soccer is too early!

As soon as I made one noise this morning mommy was in my room yanking me out of bed. I had to get to soccer by 9am and I got up around 8:30 or so. I do have to say that even though I woke up later we were the first ones to arrive at class. Class was good, I got to see some of my little friends and ran around with coach Roberto. It's a lot of fun in class, we learn how to stretch, increase our balance along with following directions (<---as if) and cleaning up. We finished up soccer class and mommy and I headed home to check on daddy and figure out what we were going to do for the rest of the day. Daddy took me up for a nap and I slept for about 30 minutes and decided I was going to wake up and talk, talk, talk. I think that glow worm was tired of me talking so he knocked me out for another hour or so.

I got up around 2pm or so and found mommy talking to Time Warner Cable and boy was she mad. She actually got so angry she had to pass the phone off to daddy. After about 45 minutes mommy and daddy were finally done with Time Warner (even though nothing was corrected and their nerves were shot). I totally thought the Time Warner people were funny as you can tell from my picture holding the phone.

We all decided that we needed to go to Sam's club and return the oranges that mommy bought Thursday that were bad and then get daddy's hair cut. We returned the oranges and decided to walk around Sam's for a bit and check out some office chairs. After shopping around for a bit we checked out and needed to run and get daddy's hair cut. Terri the lady that does daddy's hair moved to a new salon suite near Sam's so it wasn't so bad. We got daddy's hair cut and headed over to the mall to take a look at the anywhere chair at Pottery Barn Kid's. The mall was so busy goodness gracious. I think it would have been easier to park at the house and walk to the mall. I have no clue as to what was going on there today, but everyone was there.

Headed down to Pottery Barn Kid's I had to do a little people watching and laugh at the clothes that these youngsters are wearing. I really had no clue that the 80's were back, I saw someone with a head band like the one in Flashdance. Daddy, mommy and I made it to the store and took a look at the anywhere chairs that they have and I have to say that I totally fell in love. Daddy bought me the green polka dot cover and the chair inserts, I was very excited.

We made it home and mommy and daddy put my chair together and I have to say that I look pretty cute in it.

Friday, rainy Friday!

Today we had a down day (Thank God) due to the rain. We just hung out around the house and played up stairs in the play room. I don't know what it is about that mat with the letter, but I love it. I took my nap, woke up all refreshed and ready to terrorize the house and mommy some more.

Busy, busy day

Today mommy yanked me right out of bed and put me in the car. Once in the car she told me that we had to go to Auntie Tiffany's house to watch the kid's because Khansa had a doctors appointment. Mommy called auntie Tiffany on the way and she was already out the door on her way to a meeting at 8:30am for the school. We arrived at auntie's house around 8:30am and ammo Yasser and Khansa was getting ready to head out.

Ahmed, Iyah and I played around the house trying to be quiet and not wake Deemah. We played around with the toys and of course I was in and out of the tupperware cabinet. I'm not sure what kind of hold that cabinet has on me, but I just can't seem to leave it alone. I can hear it taunting me "MMMMIIIIRRRR IIIIAAAAMMMM come play in me." As always I give in to the taunting and drag every single piece of tupperware out and bang it all over the floor and drive everyone nuts lol.

Deemah woke up at around 10am and she sat in bed talking and saying uh oh. Mommy sent auntie Tiffany a text message and told her what Deemah was saying and laughed about it. I don't think it was 30 seconds later auntie called mommy and told her to run upstairs and make sure Deemah wasn't getting into a CRAP load of trouble lol. Luckily Deemah wasn't into anything bad and she was happy to see mommy. Mommy brought Deemah downstairs and gave her a cup of chocolate milk and a chocolate chip pancakes.

Auntie Tiffany and Khansa came home around 11:30 and everyone was happy to see them.

Lazy Dayz

Mommy and I just hung out around the house most of the day until we went to Carters to check out their clearance sale. Auntie Tiffany told mommy that they had pj's for $1.99 so we had to go check them out. Mommy bought me 5 new pairs of footie pj's and they are too cute.

We came back to the house and ate a snack. We were waiting for daddy to come home so we could go to Costco and get a few things that mommy has on her list. Daddy called and said that he was going to be late and we should head out on our own if we wanted to. Daddy did a video conference with me today and it was pretty fun, I just saw him eating popcorn and laughing at me while I was running around like a monkey.

Mommy and I decided to go to Sam's and check out oranges and possibly pick up the things on mommy's list. We didn't have much luck there, they didn't have any garlic and no Zyrtec which is what mommy really needed. We came home and daddy came in shortly after we did so I got to spend a little time with him before I had to go to sleep. I always have a good time with daddy, he chases me around the house and acts like a monster. I run, run and run as fast as my little legs will allow, until he catches me and picks me up and tickles me.

Daddy and mommy took me up to bed and read me Goodnight Moon and off to sleep I went. I love mommy and daddy, they are great.

Tuesday fun

My day started out taking a little break in the drawer of the coffee table. Daddy says I reminded him of the Seinfeld episode where Kramer had the Japanese investors sleeping in a dresser lol, that was a funny episode.

We went to auntie Tiffany's house to play with Ahmed, Iyah and Deemah. We ran around the house like crazy kid's and had a great time.

I came home and ended my day learning how to open the pantry closet door. Ummmm yeah now I can get in and out and choose my own snacks. I walked in and chose veggie straws and handed them to mommy so I could have them as a snack. Mommy just stood there in awe not knowing if she should tell me no or just bust out laughing. She busted out laughing hahahaha. Below are some pictures of me opening the door and going into the pantry closet.

Heaven, Hell or Houston!

Well, I haven't posted in a few day. It was CRAZY around here. Thursday mommy went to get her hair done and auntie Tiffany watched me until she got back. Auntie Tiffany had to take Deemah to the Dr. at 2:15 so Mandy came from next door to watch us all while mommy was on her way. We had lunch and just hung out around the house and had a great time playing in the kitchen.

Mommy arrived and she was there for about 20 min. and she had to run and pick up the boys from school. She picked up the boys, dropped off Nick and came back. Omar had to eat quickly because he had about 20 min. to get to swimming. Auntie Tiffany came back just in the nick of time to be able to take Omar and we were able to go home. It was just a crazy, hectic day and I was sure glad when it was over.

Friday was CRAZT too, we were preparing for our trip to Houston to visit ammo Ali and auntie Iklas. Mommy and I decided to go to the mall again and try and get the kid's some gifts. We got them each a Webkins. We got a camel for Aamer a frog for Maher and a pink poodle for Rama. Honestly mommy wasn't sure that the kid's were going to like them, but we were going to have to wait and see.

We arrived in Houston about 10:30pm and we were all so tired from a long trip. It took us 5 1/2 hours to make it there due to traffic getting out of Dallas. Auntie and Ammo had some people over for dinner and they stayed until we arrived so they could say hello. Everyone sat around and socialized and next thing they knew it was 1:30am. Mommy had put me to bed at around 11:30pm or so. I missed all the fun, but I was exhausted.

The kid's got a bit rowdy and woke me up around 1:33am and it was tough to get back to sleep. Mommy actually put me in bed with her and daddy. Let me tell you something that doesn't mix...mommy, daddy and I in a full size bed hahahaha. Mommy was on the edge of one side, daddy was on the other and then I was asleep with my feet in mommy's face and my head in daddy's back. Ummm I would like to go on the record and state that I think that was the worst nights sleep I have ever had in my entire 18 months of life lol.

We woke up on Saturday and waited for everyone to get out of bed so we could have our breakfast and head out of the house. Everyone decided to get up and at em around noon or so. Daddy fell back to sleep and got a couple good hours of sleep. We had our breakfast and headed out to the Galleria in down town Houston and I have to say that it is very impressive. Mommy fell in love with a Jimmy Choo hand bag, but daddy not so much. Although he did say that she could have 3, they were only $800 bucks each hahahaha. After we did the Galleria we headed off to Costco so daddy and Ammo could check out a computer that daddy has now talked Ammo into buying. After Costco we headed to dinner at Tokyo One.

The funniest thing happened at dinner, we all almost fell out of our chairs laughing our butts off. I guess when we arrived Ammo Ali told the waitress to give him the bill and to NOT accept payment from anyone but him. Well, no one knew it but daddy gave the waitress his credit card and paid for dinner. Ammo Ali almost killed that waitress, he just kept asking her what part of the conversation did you not understand hahahaha. Everyone that was at the house the night before was there again tonight and 1:30am came quick again.

Sunday was a lazy day, I woke up early and took a nap before we headed out to Dallas. We headed out right after breakfast/lunch due to some weather that was supposed to hit Dallas that evening. Luckily we left late enough that we missed all the weather that his Dallas around 4:30pm. We did get a little weather once we got home. It was a busy, busy weekend and I am glad it is over.

Is it Friday yet?

Ok, Ok, Ok I know it's only hump day, but lord could this week be dragging on any longer? Mommy and I just went to the mall and looked
for some gifts for the kid's in Houston, we weren't very successful. We came home and just hung out around the house until daddy came home and then we had some fun playing with daddy. Daddy is so much fun, he loves to laugh and joke with us.

Mommy, daddy and I just played around on the bed and had a great time. Take a look at my face if you don't believe me lol.

Another day of errands!

I decided that I was going to get up at 7 this morning, just to keep mommy on her toes. Well, with me waking so early I was ready for my nap at around 10 or so. Mommy did put me down for a nap around 10 because I was really, really cranky. I slept for about an hour and decided that I had enough of that and wanted to cry and make a fuss to get out of my bed.

We had to run to Toys R Us to return these marker things that mommy bought for me...ummm yeah not a good idea. I actually LOVED them, but mommy didn't. I painted my face, my shirt, my high chair and oh yeah I did get a little on the paper mommy gave me. While at Toys R Us auntie Tiffany called and needed our help at her house so we headed over there for a few min. We helped out and had to run because we had a house guest coming for a short visit around 2:30 or so.

We came up the road and our house guest was standing at the front door waiting for us. As you could tell mommy and I were late four our visitor. The visitors came in and we hung out for about an hour and played, they have a son that is close to my age. After the guests left, mommy noticed there was a target bag sitting on the counter. Mommy opened the bag and to her surprise there was a Baby Alive in there just for me, look how cute I was taking care of my baby.

Mommy and I took my baby out for a little stroll around the neighborhood. We went to the green belt and walked around the grass. There were these two cute dogs there that kept kissing me on the face hehehehe.

We came back to the house and hung out until daddy came home then we had dinner. I spent a little time with daddy before I had to go night, night.

A woman after my own heart!

Need I say more...This girl is learning early. She was asking me if her purse and shoes matched her outfit hahahaha. Of course they match sweetie, anything looks GREAT on you!





We ran some errands and I have to say that by the time we were done I was exhausted. We had to run to Target and pick up a few items, drop off the dry cleaning and return something to Toys R Us. In and out of the car can be very hard on me. On our way home from dropping off the dry cleaning I fell asleep in the car.

Mommy made some yummy dinner, it was shrimp with linguini and salad. While I was waiting for dinner to be finished, I decided to sit and read a little bit. In reading I found that bumble bees don't like to sting people, they only do it when we try and hurt them. I also love to chew on my books...Daddy says that I am hungry for knowledge hahaha. Yummy books are good.

Saturday - Sunday (too tired to post)

Saturday - A very busy day for us. I had soccer in the morning, which I have to say that I am getting very good at lol. I got two stamps this week for being such a good participant. On the way to soccer, mommy forgot that she was supposed to make potato salad for a baby shower that was at 2 p.m. that afternoon. We stopped at Kroger on the way home and picked up the items mommy needed to finish that task and headed home. I ate a little bit of lunch and needed to lay down for my nap because I had a very, very busy morning and I needed to be fresh for the baby shower. While I was asleep mommy finished her potato salad and prepared my bag for the afternoon as I require a lot of snacks and drinks.

We arrived at the baby shower around 2:15 because we are ALWAYS late although the party hadn't started yet (I guess they are on AST too lol). There were a lot of different people there and a ton of food. We had two different kinds of sandwiches, potato salad, fruit kabobs with cheese on them and don't forget the Costco cake. I am telling you, Costco has the BEST cake ever and I think I ate two pieces all on my own. As I was eating my second piece of cake daddy came back from next door to catch me scarfing it down like a little monster. He just kept asking me where I put it and if I felt sick to my stomach. I reassured him that I was an expert at eating Costco cake and not to worry about me *wink*. They opened the gifts and I have to say that they got a great start on becoming a baby friendly household.

After the party, Auntie Saffia, Ammo Khalil, Ron, Victoria, mommy, daddy and I decided to go to Buffalo Wild Wings. Daddy had been craving the habanero mango wings which he had been talking about for over a week and a half. Mommy was ready to get there just so she wouldn't have to hear him talk about it any longer lol or as mommy would say put him out of his misery already. We had a good time there, but by the time we were done it was around 7:30 and I was exhausted. I fell asleep in the car on the way home and was so tired that I couldn't even post one word about my day. It was a good day and I had a blast.

Sunday - Very uneventful it was a wear your pj's all day kinda day, if ya know what I mean. Mommy, daddy and I just hung out around the house and lounged in our pj's all day long. The weather looked beautiful out there, but honestly it was c-o-l-d out there. Mommy did a bit of laundry and daddy did a bit of work. They were both trying to get ahead for the up coming week. I think that we will be spending some time at auntie Tiffany's this week trying to help her get ready for the arrival of her sister in law who will be having a baby here in May. She will get here next Saturday I think. We need to finish painting Iyah's room and get that all ready because that is where her sister in law will stay while she is here. I am looking forward to them being here, I will get to play with Ahmed again and I am sure we will have a good time.

Ok, well I am outta here for now. I am sure I will write some new interesting happenings and adventures tomorrow.

Paint anybody?

Mommy and I decided to go to auntie Tiffany's house today to help her get a couple of her projects done before her sister in law gets here next weekend. Mommy decided that she was going to help auntie by painting the up stairs bathroom which really needed it. Mommy got to painting while auntie finished staining the cabinet by the front door. I just played around upstairs with Iyah and hung around watching TV.

All was going good, mommy was almost done with the bathroom when auntie came up to check on the progress. Mommy and auntie decided that they wanted to touch up the ceiling and baseboards. Auntie went to the garage to get the touch up paint and on her way to the garage found Deemah getting into a CRAP load of trouble again. All we heard was "Oh I'm going to kill you" and the water started running lol. Mommy finished up painting and went down to check on what was going on. She found auntie scrubbing the carpet and Deemah in the bath tub. Mommy decided to take a little water break.

While taking a little water break, auntie asked mommy if she would watch Deemah in the bath tub while she finished touching up the baseboards and ceiling. All of a sudden mommy hears "OH MIRIAM!" Mommy comes running up the stairs to find auntie carrying me down the hall with paint all over my face, stomach, legs and hands. Auntie was painting behind the tub and I snuck in and carried the small cup of paint down the hall and spilled it all over and started to play in it. Oh man was I in trouble lol. Mommy and auntie scrubbed the carpet and we will have to see it if comes out all the way.

Well, I am tired from all the mischief I got into today. I'm going to call it a night. Goodnight moon, goodnight cow jumping over the moon.

Down Day...Now that's funny!

Yeah as if my mom understands the meaning of a down day, she always has something that needs to be done. This morning mommy and daddy had dentist appointments so I was passed off in the lobby and for the brief moment I was there the ladies ogled over me. Mommy came home and it was time for my nap. I laid down for my nap, but I woke up a bit testy. Mommy seems to think that I am getting a new tooth so this is what's making me cranky. I took some Tylenol and I felt a lot better.

We went out to dinner at Camille's Sidewalk Cafe. Mommy had half of a wrap, soup and then we all shared a BBQ chicken flat bread pizza. I thought the chocolate chip cookie was the best of all. After dinner we had to go to Toy's R Us to pick up some diapers because mommy had a coupon for $10.00 off. Mommy doesn't shop without a coupon these days.

Sam's here we come, we were searching for socks for daddy. We found the socks and of course a few other things that we didn't have on our list lol like oranges. Daddy loves oranges, I mean they are good and all but daddy LOVES them. I got a free cookie and I actually have to admit that I got two. The cookies were so good, they were two chocolate chip cookies with cream in the middle with sprinkles around the outside. I ate so much that I almost made myself sick. Now after Sam's we had to run to Wal-Mart, daddy and I stayed in the car while mommy ran in to get the few things we needed.

We came home and mommy and I took a shower, that is so much fun. I love being in the shower, the water makes me laugh when it hits my face. I came running out of the shower and hit the floor flat on my butt...oops I guess I had better get dried off first. Wow it's time to get to sleep now. Mommy is getting my bed ready and daddy is going to sit down and read to me. Tonight daddy read the Tooth Book by Dr. Seuss. Night night all, sleep tight.

Day at the Aquarium with mommy and daddy

Today we went to The Dallas World Aquarium and had a blast. Here is a picture of mommy, daddy and I. This picture was taken at the beginning of the shark tank exhibit. A nice lady stopped and asked if she could help us out and take our picture.
